Vikram Sarabhai Library, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is in the process of hiring Library Trainees.

Desired candidate’s profile

 

1.       Post Graduate in Library & Information Science with first class (those who are appearing for M.L.I.Sc. exam can also apply)

2.       Good communication skills in English

3.       Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills

4.       Sound knowledge of Windows and MS Office  

• Compensation offered for the above post is a consolidated stipend of up to Rs.14,000/- per month.
• The applicant must be available for work from Monday to Saturday (both days inclusive). On requirement Trainees may be called on shift duty.
• The training period will be purely for a period of one year and may not be extended further.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview
• Selection of candidate will be based on written test followed by a personal interview
• No of vacancies : 4
• Age limit: 26 years
